International holidays are surely important all over the world as all people celebrate them regardless of their citizenship, nationality and religious beliefs.

Most of these holidays have appeared fairly recently and have been initiated by such organizations as UN and UNESCO. But some holidays appeared such a long time ago that even historians fail to determine the roots of their celebrating tradition.

All of these holidays are widely celebrated in some countries and modestly in others, sometimes remaining practically unnoticeable. But they don't lose their importance because of that international holidays have always united people, bridging the gaps of cultural differences and giving a lot of positive emotions and good mood.
